"I looking for my birth father: R" by Christa I looking for my birth father: Robert Walls My name is Christa Kuenkler-Gross. I’m from Germany. I am 57 years old and have never known my parents. I was born on July 1949 in Munich, and given up for adoption right after birth. I have lived in an orphanage in Munich until I was nearly three years old, and was adopted by what I thought were my parents. I had no idea that I was adopted until later on in my life, when I came across the adoption papers by accident For all of my life I have felt like I didn’t belong to my family, like there was something missing, which the adoption papers then made real to me. Since then I have found my birthmother, her name was Anneliese Opitz . I have also been able to gain more insight into who she was and where she lived at the time of my birth. The adoption agency gave me access to my birth certificate, which lists "Robert Walls" as the father. All I want is to find out who my parents are ……..nothing less, nothing more. I would need to know, if Robert Walls, indeed knew my mother, Anneliese Opitz. For one, as I found out, he was stationed in Germany from 1948-1951, and he was stationed in the Munich area. The Military Personal Records St. Louis gave me the information over him: He was stationed in Germany from 9 October 1948 until October 13. He was served at Air Base Erding, Freising as an Corporal and Airman. His date of birth 27 October 1926. All I want is to find out who my parents are ……..nothing less, nothing more. I would need to know, if Robert Walls, indeed knew my mother, Anneliese Opitz. My E-Mail 671949@Web.de
